§ 150.091. WOOD MEMBERS; CONSTRUCTION.

  • All wood members shall be so framed, anchored, tied and braced together as to develop the strength and rigidity necessary for the purposes for which they are used. Preparation, fabrication and installation of wood members and glues and mechanical devices for fastening thereof, shall conform throughout to good engineering practices. Walls and structural framing shall be erected true and plumb in accordance with the design. Bracing shall be placed during erection whenever necessary to take care of all loads to which the structure may be subjected.
