§ 151.202. DESIGNATION OF AGENT FOR RESIDENT APPLICANTS.

No operating license for a multiple dwelling or roominghouse shall be issued or renewed for a resident applicant unless the applicant has first designated an agent for the receipt of service of notices of violations of the provisions of this chapter and for service of process pursuant to this chapter when the applicant is absent from the city for 30 or more days. Such a designation shall be made in writing, and shall accompany each application form. The applicant may designate any person resident in the city his or her agent for this purpose, or may designate the City Clerk his or her agent for this purpose.
